Sherman and I bought two steele saddles last year. Sherman’s horse would get a sore back after 3 or 4 days of riding. The first few times that we rode Sherman’s horse with the steele saddle he still got sore in the back. We contacted Eric and he asked us what type of pad we were using. He told us the pad we were using was too thick and he sent us one of the pads that he recommends. He also sent us instructions on where and how to place the saddle for a proper fit. We followed his instructions and have just returned from 3 weeks of trail riding and Sherman’s horse never got sore in the back. We love our Steele saddles and so do our horses. Sherman and Mary Sue Hicks
