I rode both my Walkers and Foxtrotters with it, and it fit all of them. I have never felt anything more comfortable in my life!! No more backaches, no more knee pain and no more sore bottom. I just recently purchased a new 2 year old, and felt that I needed the security of a horn, so I started looking for a used Classic Western. There was no way I was going back to a typical saddle after riding a Steele. Luckily, I thought to call Steele and see if they had any used ones available. To my surprise, they had a Christmas special on a new Classic, and I grabbed it right up. I can't wait to receive this, I know I'll be out in 20 degree weather just to try it out. I listed my used Plantation on E-Bay, and I know I won't have any problem selling it-you just can't find these used. "Like most we started out with western saddle's. Vicki has a bad knee and it would always bother her after a good ride. I don't recall how she heard about the steel saddle co. but she bought a plantation and had it shipped to the house. After a short while she talked me into trying out her new saddle, a little small for me but what a ride. A difference in night and day. So we took a road trip and visited with Fred and Eric one Saturday afternoon tried out the different types saddles. I liked the plantation saddle and had them build one for me. The cross country trail ride was only a month away and I told them I would like to have it for that ride.
