I was riding today on my Kentucky Mountain horse and we were doing a lot of gaiting in an open field for an hour. When we stopped my friend who I was riding with says to me, “You like riding with a loose girth.”, (I don’t like riding with the loose girth) “I can see daylight between you and your horse.” She also added “Your saddle did not move at all the whole time you were riding.”
That experience today made me love my Steele saddle even more. I was secure the whole time I was in the saddle and at one time my horse spook and moved quickly to the side and the saddle did not move. Thank you Steele for making a saddle that not only fits my horse to a tee, but also keeps us safe. I tighten up the girth and went back out for another hour!
