I have ridden my mule in that saddle over 120 miles in the mountains and worked my mule from the Steele saddle while sorting over 500 calves from cows here. I have taken multiple photos for you of my mule with the Steele saddle on so you can see the fit with the saddle pad and rigging from all angles. I love my new Mountaineer saddle. Steele saddles have such a comfortable and correct seat. You can ride them all day. And I never need a breast collar or a crupper, even in the mountains. It was great to be able to ride the tree for a week or 2 and then have it made into a saddle. That way you really know what you are buying and whether it fits you and your horse. I have two Steele saddles now, and I recommend them to my friends. Two of my friends are already buying Steele saddles. Steele saddles fit both horse and rider great. -Marla D

I rode in the demo with Fred at Loretta Lynn in June and I love it. I rode an Abetta for 3 days and hurt like crazy Fred brought me the demo Thursday and there were no preasure points I did not hurt as bad in knees, back or ankles and by Friday absolutely no pain anyway I totally believe in these saddles I don’t have a lot of money so for me to make this decision was hard but it will fit 80% of horses so for me it will be the last saddle I buy oh and did I mention non conditional lifetime warranty in other words this saddle is SWEET! Back home from Arizona. So we went to the barn and worked Macy and Cavie, rode for a little bit- hot and humid here.. like that’s anything new! Macy tried to see if she was a little more alpha than me but soon learned it was much easier to do what i asked and not what she wanted. Then we took them back out to their herd in the pasture. I still cannot say enough how much my new saddle from Eric Hawkins Steel Saddle has improved our riding! The comfort is unbelievable. We could ride forever.
