We go everywhere with my Steele

We go everywhere!  The Ozarks of Missouri, different area’s of New Mexico, and in Tennessee where I compete in an obstacle course competition where we won 1st place in Novice division.  I always have people asking me about my saddle, everywhere I ride.  I even let people hop up and try it out.!

Bare Tree 3 Hour Ride = Best Saddle I’ve Ever Ridden

Received my Steele Trail Saddle demo Saturday. It sure looks different. The tree was specifically made to fit my hard to fit Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH). The demo program works like this: First, you send several pictures to custom Steele Trail saddles. Second, they make a tree they think will fit, tack on a little leather for comfort and you ride the nearly bare tree. Third, send more pictures and Steele will tweak the fit for you and your horse. Fourth, mail the tree back and they will build you a custom saddle.

Day 1:  demo ride with bare tree. Wow. 3+ hour ride. Most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden. Absolutely no back, knee or leg pain. Happy rider, happy horse.” Lo and behold, a perfect saddle.      – Lennie Young Machen

You are never too young!

“My 2 1/2 yr old grandson likes my Steele Trail Saddle, and of course, I love it too…one day he’ll be riding in it!”

– Laura Geiger Kendrick

No more knee pain!

“Tired of seeing us yet? We did 20+ miles this weekend and I loved every minute in this saddle. For the last 15 years, I have had knee pain after 45 minutes of riding, but not anymore. We rode the hills and valleys of Salt Fork State Park without a breast collar, and the saddle never moved. Chief is a 16h Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH), and I can mount with this saddle (not a pretty sight, but I don’t have to watch). Thanks so much, Eric and Fred, for making us this beautiful saddle.” – Jean Wood

Non-Gaited Standardbred Mare

“My non-gaited Standardbred mare modeling her Steele Mountaineer trail saddle. Baby AKA Simply Noble is an off the track standardbred horse. We have had many adventures and covered a lot of miles in this trail saddle over the past 5 years. Still the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden.” 🙂  – Cherie Cornmesser

Plantation Trail Saddle – Fits Great

“Dixie Dawn with her Steele Plantation trail saddle. She’s a Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH), and the saddle fits her great. So comfortable.”  – Jane Currey-Cartee
