I currently ride in a Classic Steele saddle. I love it, and I think I have put a few thousand miles on it already. It seems to fit most of my horses pretty well. The gullet looks like it measures 7.5 or 8 inches. I’m already in the process of selling my J. J. Maxwell saddle which isn’t as comfortable so I can afford another Steele! – Susan C.

Got my beautiful new Steele Saddle…. first ride out I got a “8” ride after my Arabian was spooked by a deer coming from under a bush, with out a doubt I believe I didn’t come off the horse mainly due to this saddle’s amazing seat!!! Worth it’s weight in gold!
I also want to mention the great customer service that Eric and Fred at Steele Saddle by Custom Tree & Saddle have provided me. I’m happy to promote such a great product and service to any of my friends.
My Steele Saddle is very beautiful and very ‘classy’ in a serious trail saddle sort of way. The combination of black and brown with black accessories will be striking. The leather is so nice, I’ll be sick if anything scratches it, worse than new car paint! The bridle and reins in black with the black breast collar on the sorrel horse should be pretty striking!
