The Steele Ranch Western trail saddle is exactly what I wanted. I have always liked a slick seat saddle but it was almost impossible to find a trail saddle with the western look and a slick seat. The Ranch Western Saddle is the only one I have found. I would recommend your saddles to anyone. – Tom

We started the saddle fitting process in early spring. After a careful fitting process under Eric’s guidance, we were all satisfied with the fit, especially AJ (the horse). The saddle was then promptly finished. We have been riding steadily for the past several months, so this review is based on a fair amount of use (not just the excitement from having a new saddle). AJ and I are both very happy. The Mountaineer saddle fits both of us like a glove–it is lightweight, comfortable and well made. I expect years of great riding!
