ATTENTION TRAIL RIDERS: Have you had trouble with your seat bones getting sore? Have you had trouble with your lower back aching? Do not look any further… I shopped for a new trail saddle for a long time and then I finally called Eric at Steele Saddles and he sent me a demo to try! Well, I fell in love with the ride, the comfort. The saddle that I was riding, I rode for the last ten years. It was specifically designed for gaited horses, and yes it seemed to fit my horse okay, but NOT me! I ride many, many miles and yes I kept riding the same saddle! Crazy. Yes, I bought two different cushions for my saddle and they would help a little, but I would still have the pain in my seat bones. I absolutely love my new Steele Saddle. NO pain at all!!!!!
Actually, I received my new saddle on a Wednesday, tried it out that day and put it on the trailer. I rode it for three solid days into the weekend and guess what it was wonderful. No break in time, comfortable from the minute I put it on my horse. Enough about how good they are for the rider, they are great for the horses. I use a ½ cut back pad and it does not slip, my horse’s shoulders are totally free and it fits great. If you ride a lot, and are not comfortable, take action and try one of these saddles. You will not believe the comfort!!!!! Don’t wait ten years like I did.
