I ordered my husband a new Steele Outlaw trail saddle for Christmas in 1998. He still rides the saddle today it has thousands of trail miles and still looks great. We have Missouri Foxtrotters all built differently and this saddle does well on all of them.
Fall of 2011 – I decided to bite the bullet and ordered a Steele trail saddle for myself the Steele Trail Boss Saddle model. I love this saddle it has the smaller horn which works great for me because I am used to no horn. I also got the new lighter tree and I can saddle myself.
One more note, you hardly ever see a used Steele trail saddle for sale and I am convinced it is because the people who have them LOVE them and hardly ever part with them. I’d love to get my husband a new Steele Outlaw saddle, but he won’t have it. He says his outlaw is like a favorite pair of boots they are worn in and fit him perfect!
