Just to let you know I received the test saddle. And, it’s the greatest saddle I’ve ever sat in!!!!! I’ve not had a chance to ride in it more then 30 minutes per horse. Yet, from the 1st moment I sat in this saddle it automatically put me in a correct 3 point position without even trying. My body just feel into position without effort on my part. This has never happened in any other saddle I’ve sat in. The seat size is perfect. It let me move freely to maneuver my horses in all small circles, over obstacles, etcs.
Now regarding the horses, it seemed, from my laymen’s view point, to fit them both. I say this because it’s the 1st tree that didn’t roll on my roundest weather horse when mounting or riding. This was also the case for my bit thinner horse as well. Both moved freely under the saddle gaited wonderfully. It’s everything and more then what you described in regards to comfort for both horse and rider.
Would love to talk with you about building me the greatest saddle I know I’ll ever own : )
The only compliant I have is the saddle pad I received. The feel of the felt just bothers me a bit, so I hardly used it on the horses. I would like the opportunity to exchange this for the Standard trail tacky too pad. A side from this I’m so impressed and can’t wait to get my very own Steele saddle.
