My new Steele Outback is sooooo good looking! But the ultimate recommendation I can give is on the comfort and security of this saddle. I have always had pain in my knee after 45 minutes of riding, but after 20+ miles the first weekend I can happily say that knee did NOT hurt!!! The saddle is a joy to ride. AND my horse, Chief, actually broke at the poll and rounded beautifully during our rides! Thank you Eric and Fred for building this saddle for me and Chief. – Jean W.

First Ride in Mountaineer
Hi Eric,
I thought I would send a few pics of our first ride today in our new Mountaineer saddle! We rode for four hours today and had a fantastic ride! This saddle is the most comfortable and secure saddle that I have ever had, and my horse Ms. Mattie loved it too! I only wish that I had found out about you guys sooner! I absolutely refuse to ride in any other saddle ever since I sat in a Steele! Again I want to thank you and Fred for everything! God Bless!

Two great years with my Steele saddle!
Hi Eric!! Here is a photo of my paint mare Bee (non-gaited) wearing our
Steele saddle; this picture was taken 2 years ago (before we got our new Steele
saddle pad 🙂 when she was 27. She is now 29 and we are still getting out
on trails, and both still loving our Steele saddle. Take care, and thank you again for this fantastic saddle!! – Sue D.
Recommended for any breed!
We met Annette from Boonville, Indiana on the lake trail at Wranglers Campground and she told us her Steele trail saddle saved her from losing her seat, and that she definitely recommends a Steele trail saddle for any breed. She rides a non-haired curly Freisen in Kentucky.
Thanks for the great testimonial.
