I can’t thank you enough

The demo saddle is on it’s way back to you…  I can’t thank you enough for allowing me the
extra time to ride the demo saddle at our field trial event this last weekend!!! THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH!!!  I rechecked the saddle one last time before shipping it back to you for bridging in the area of concern… I still did not see or feel any major gaps.  There is a good chance that I still don’t have the saddle moved back quite far enough and by moving it back a touch more maybe it will fix the contact in that area. My only concern in the final fit of the new saddle is if it will still tend to roll from side to side like the demo saddle would
do if my weight shifted. I played around with tightened the cinch on the demo & it did helped some, but the more I tightened it the more it seems to drive the “U” shaped piece of the tree bars down into her more. I know you said the new design has the “U” shaped part of the tree shaved down… do you think that will help with stabilizing the saddle better on her back?

I am in no rush to receive my new saddle, as our field trial events won’t resume again until the spring. If you think it’s worth having me purchase one of your mold kits or ride the tree itself, I am open to whatever you feel is necessary to ensure proper fit & I completely trust your judgement on this!!!

I had several people at the field trials ask me about the saddle I was riding & what other models your company makes, so I gave them your website & contact info. I also made a point to show your saddle to our farrier as well as one of the TWH trainer/judges here in Utah and gave both of them your website info. as well… I really hope it helps to brings new business your way! Your saddle is like none other out there both in quality & design &
both you & Fred have been really great to work with! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 🙂

Warmest regards, Denise Barnes

Ready for my next Steele Saddle

I have put at least a couple of thousand miles in my Steele saddle. Here is a photo of my Peruvian mare Tequila. We were trail riding on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. Looking to pick up another Steele trail saddle soon!   –  Susan Chandler, Steele Saddle Customer

Ride Across America with Tye & Edward

We want to really get behind this great team and the Western Wishes Campaign and need your help!   Steele Saddle has made the commitment to give $50 on the behalf of every customer who purchases a saddle from us as well as give you the option to upgrade to a diamond tufted seat on your saddle as a bonus!  Tye & Edward started their journey on March 15, 2014 with a goal of riding across 48 states in support of the www.WesternWishes.org foundation.  This young man feels he has a calling to support children in gaining their wishes and has taken this arduous journey without a trailer or support team.  Without any pack horses, simply his courage and his faithful horse Edward. We first heard about him when he stopped at one of our Steele Saddle customer’s farm for a break as Edward was getting saddle sores from the old saddle he was riding.  They called about getting him one of our demos to ride instead and so began our support of Tye.

It didn’t take us long to realize he was serious and committed to his journey.  Tye & Edward are doing it the Old West Cattle Drive way sleeping out under the stars when he isn’t near a farm.  He is traveling through your streets downtown and your highways as me makes his way through Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, and now Wisconsin with almost 60 small towns behind him.

As Tye & Edward ride their route, we ask that you give him a warm bed to sleep in and a much needed respite for his ever faithful Edward.  Saddle up and ride with him as he rides through your streets and fields and listen to how one man’s dream can make a difference.  We will keep you updated here about his location.

This journey will take 2 years to complete and we will support his efforts with a donation of $50 with every saddle sold to Western Wishes.  Find out more about Tye & Edward on his website which is www.AmericanWishRide.com and make a donation.  Every dollar counts.10460711_712011028864796_3653919567857269075_n

Love my Steele Saddle, Comfortable – No Sore Spots – Beautiful

From the demo to my custom Steele Platinum Trail Saddle I couldn’t be happier with the quality and fit for both the horse and myself.  While you were making my new Steele trail saddle, the demo went on  a 2 week trail ride in the Carson National Forest and was a huge success with several riders saving pennies and selling old saddles to get their own Rolls Royce of saddles, the Steele Trail Saddle.  The Steele demo saddle was used on a 14.1 hand paso, a 15.1 hand paso, a 15 hand paso, and a 16 hand foundation quarter horse.  Each horse was rode between 3-10 hours during the day with this saddle. Not one sore back or rubbed spot.  Plus I never had to use a  breast strap or crupper to keep my Steele saddle in place riding through the Rocky Mountains.  All the other riders had to use both breast strap and crupper as we  bushwhacked with our horses through the Carson National Forest.

My Steele Trail Saddle has also been used on a 14.1 hand petit Paso, a 15 hand Missouri Fox Trotter, a 15.1 Tennessee Walker and a quarter horse.  This one trail saddle fit each horse with no signs of rubbing, back soreness or other signs of discomfort. Plus, I never once experienced knee or back soreness.  Thank you for making an amazing fitting trail saddle that holds up to what ever the weather or human throws it’s way.
