Max, my 17 hand, 1400 pound TWH, had just gone though a growth spurt and had outgrown all of our saddles. Max was very clear in communicating the problem by refusing to move out and by bucking, things he never used to do. Max had always had a bit of a roaring problem but now he was shutting down on the trails. I had even taken him to UT to have him scoped but was told he was fine. By now this old die-hard English rider was ready to even try an endurance or western saddle if they might fit Max. Luckily my husband suggested I look at a Steele Saddle. At my wits end, I did.
