I am a 60-year-old horsewoman. Currently, I don’t have my own horse, but I am a Co- rider for horse owners that don’t have enough time to exercise their horses. Because of this arrangement, I get to sit in many different brands of saddles, but I always need to change the stirrup length and some saddles can be very heavy. Recently I saw the “try before you buy” advertisement from Steele Israel. That gave me the idea to buy my own gear. Gabriella gave me a demo saddle for a week, and now I never want to ride in any other saddle again. I am really happy that you have a dealer in Israel, that supplies “tester” saddles, without that service I would never have discovered your saddle. It’s a great idea! Gabriella made me feel like a VIP, which made the whole process fun.
I had such a great day of riding my horse in my new saddle!
I received my beautiful black saddle with heart conchos Tuesday night. I had such a great day riding my horse in it yesterday!! Best day I have had on my horse since I got her! She was so relaxed!! When I sat in the saddle I said “Oh ya!!” OUT LOUD! Hahaha! Thank you so much!!!
I have been riding for years and these saddles are the best!
I have been riding horses for years. I rode with any saddle I could borrow. In 2000 I purchased a Tucker saddle. It was nice but I didn’t really know the difference in Saddles. In 2008 my friend wanted me to ride his classic Steele Saddle. It was so comfortable that I bought the saddle from him. I have had this saddle for 13 years. (It is at least 20 years old and never been worked on.) It’s still comfortable like brand new.
These saddles seem to fit every type of horse, from narrow to wide!
I have tried many saddles, but this one is the last saddle I will ever need, no matter what breed or size of horse I might ride. My daughter and I both have Steele Mountaineer saddles, and we have had our saddles on all ten of our horses. They fit them all! It is unbelievable! My family owns five Icelandic horses, two Rocky Mountain horses, one 16-hand Friesian/Morgan cross, one Morgan, and one Arabian. My 25-year-old Rocky Mountain horse’s back had dropped from many years of saddles that had been “fitted” to his back, but forced him to lower his back instead of rounding it. I don’t know how many brands of saddles I bought—I tried Western, English, treeless—they were all awful. He lost muscle on his back, looked old and sway-backed, and was in pain during a ride. One brand helped his back, but hurt me. Now, after 4 years using only my Steele saddle, Sam looks young again and enjoys his rides. His back has come up and muscled out. And, I am finally having a comfortable ride, and feel secure, too. These saddles seem to fit every type of horse, from narrow to wide! It’s such a relief to not have to worry about the gullet being wide or narrow, or whether the saddle will pinch, or be too wide! My daughter is ordering a Steele saddle for her 5-year-old son. Thank you, Steele Saddles! – Sharon M.
The Outlaw Saddle Provided the Best Fit and Very Comfortable!
Best fit and very comfortable. My horse when young lost his confidence when he jumped a creek and then his front feet sunk some in the mud when he landed. He went into a rodeo buck all the way across the field, (large field) and due to the style was much easier to stay in the saddle! Thank you for that! He is a steady Eddie now a very confident good boy; you will never regret buying this saddle and the honesty of the people at Steel Saddle is another big plus. I have had many people comment on my beautiful saddle. I had a hard-to-fit horse (not great withers and has some foundation quarter horse in him) These people didn\’t have a problem with that either. – Sharon P. (Purchased a Steele Saddle Outlaw)
I bought one and had to purchase another!
When I bought my first saddle and I noticed how comfortable it is for me and my horse I decided to purchase another one because I love your saddles. Great job! I wish you the best of luck in your business, God bless. -Ameed A.
